My '98 Plymouth Grand Voyager starts with Low Pressure Light problms a few days ago. In the morning, when I start the engine, everything goes OK. A few miles later, in idle position or when the RPM go down, the light starts blinking. After I drive several miles stopping at stores or home, the light doesn't blink anymore. Any help? Thank you in advance!

Check oil level. Make sure you're using the right weight oil. If those are good, you've either got a bad oil pressure sensor or pressure problems with the pump or worn engine bearings. Could be a sitcking pressure relief valve in the pump. But also could be a worn engine

Hi Wayne, what you do is turn the key to the "on" position and back to "off". Do this three times. The engine light will flash. It will flash a certain amount of times, pause, then another set of flashes. The first set of flashes is the first number of your code. The second set is the second number. For example, you see 5 flashes, your first number of your code is 5, and so on.

I don't believe your particular vehicle's cooling system needs to be bled during coolant filling, but check the coolant level first. It seems that the coolant level is too low for the sensors to be able to sense the temperature, or the sensors are disconnected. Look for a connector on the intake manifold, near the coolant outlet. Ensure it is properly connected.

You have a shorted engine harness, this is not common but it does happen, heat and engine movement cause damage to the harness, this is most common on hi miler cars and vans, the only way to fix it is to start by looking anywhere the harness rubs, that is where the damage occurs.

Grand voyager

I would have codes checked for MIL. It sounds like it could have a bad Torque Converter Clutch solenoid. If thats the case when they put the code scanner on it it should throw a TCC sol. code. Autozone and O'Reilys will check codes free of charge.

Engine Knocking / No Power

Dosent sound good. Oil light on means you lost oil pressure. and the knocking sound is the damage done due to low pressure. Start looking for another engine or another van.

I have a 98 plymouth grand voyager. i had to replace the wheel cylinder. after that I had to replace the master cylinder. it was bled and had a good brake pedal. (keep in mind, no lose of fluid) it set...

If you hear air, it is probably a failed diaphram in your booster. When you say you had good pedal, that was with engine off, right. Then, with engine on it goes to the floor. Does it still go to the floor with engine off? If no, it is the booster. Let me know if this isn't it or you have more questions.

97 plymouth voyager transmission / dashboard issues

My dashboard kept goin dead on me too, I removed the cluster to get at the harness plugged into the back of it, and found that when I applied pressure upward on the harness everything came back on. when I let go, it slowly fell back into place and it all shut off again. there's 6or7 screws around the circuit board fastening it to the plastic framing. I simply loosened these screws, applied pressure to harness to make everything turn back on and retightened the screws to hold the harness and whole board back where it needs to be. This is not gaurunteed to work, but it saved me havin to pay over $300 for a shop to find and fix the problem. good luck

Bad acceleration - engine goes off while driving

12 is battery disconnected lately, or dead. No worries.
13 & 14 are your likely problem, M.A.P. sensor.
52 is oxygen sensor.
I would replace M.A.P sensor, disconnect battery for a few minutes to erase codes, then hook-up start & run the vehicle for a while. My guess is that the oxygen sensor is being tripped by Map sensor. Run for a couple of days if running o.k. then check codes again.
