P1506 Idle Air Control Over Speed Error.
Vacuum leak or throttle sticking:
Are the vacuum controlled heater functions working properly?
Try plugging off the Evap Emissions hoses, large and small.
Use a tire gauge to measure idle fuel pressure, both with modulator valve normal and vacuum hose off. Should be 30 and 40 psi.Measure vacuum with a gauge. I would expect near 20 inches at normal idle.I'd replace the PCV valve, and carefully inspect the hose and connections.

P1506 - Idle Air Control (IAC) Overspeed Error This DTC is set when the PCM detects engine idle speed that is greater than the desired rpm.

• IAC circuit short to GND
• Damaged IAC valve

Disconnect IAC valve and look for little or no change in engine rpm as an indication of a stuck or damaged valve.

The code is for the idle air control valve which controls idle speed.
The problem could be a faulty control valve, or a vac leak which is letting in air to the intake and bypassing the control valve.

P1506 FORD - Idle Air Control Over Speed Error

Hello, your Codes mean there is a problem with the fuelrail pressure sensor(0191) and that the idle control motor is making higher RPM than it should (p1506). You need to test the fuel pressure at the test valve to determine if the pressure regulator is bad. With extra pressure, it is possible the higher rpm is a result and once pressure is restored to normal the rpm will likely drop.

If you do not have a way to test the pressure you could just replace the sensor and see what happens. Autozone, Oreillys and Advance have tool lending programs if you still want to test it.
