Hello, The fuel pump is inside the gas tank. Remove the exhaust, Disconnect and remove all hoses and lines, also disconnect all electrical wires, remove 4 bolts from straps holding tank. Drop tank down. Remove lines and hoses from top of fuel pump module, remove lock ring, pull fuel pump module, turn unit as necessary so you don't destroy the fuel level sender. Hope this helps
Take it to someone else would be the easiest. On that engine you have to pull the intake. The starter is just under the intake. Not a hard job. I wouldn't call it a job for a beginner.
if you do not have the wrench the dealer may be able to replace it if they are factory rims. If they are aftermarket Snap On makes a universal set but they are pricy
diswconnect negative battery cable remove plastic rock shield at rear of starter remove battery cable from starter remove purple wire from solenoid remove bracket from front of starter remove two bolts from back of starter, manuver starter out. if previous work has been ay have to raise the engine thi procedure is for the 4.9 engine
