Many things will set this code.causeing low voltage to dpfe sensor, its alot of times bad, first test egr valve with applied vacum to determine its not bad.tube running to exhaust can and does clog with carbon over years.if its clogged must be cleaned.check dpfe sensor voltage rise and fall differences correct, before just chaung things.egv pressure regulator check also.check thouroughly all wiring,it can aand does get hot ,soften an stick together shorting ang ground as it should not,, make sure pvc valve working and not leaking vacum, all hoses and fittings should be checked for vacum leaak..even a faulty maf sensor that might not set aa code will brigabout this code 1400.thouroughly tesst all components even 02 sensors should be suspect.all this fails at about the same time.take your time ,overlook nothing fix everything right the first time.dont waste your money.most of these parts are available way less than dealership and even autozone on ebay

Make sure you replaced the right one there are two sensor's for the coolant, one takes coolant temp and the other one runs the fans for the radiator. Both are located on drivers side of the block. 2 wire leads on each how ever both are different in sending readings to the computer. Both look just alike also. Just make sure you replaced the right one. Or replace both.
