Hi No Name, The most likely place of the leakage on your car is the front crankshaft oil seal. The oil pan (sump) is fitted with silicon from a tube as the gasket. It rarely leaks unless someone has broken the seal, which is difficult and usually needs a special tool for removal. To replace it you'll need to disconnect the battery, remove the PK (Serpentine) belt and the power steering pump belt and the front engine mounting (Front of the engine but fitted onto the side of the body) Next remove the crank shaft pulley, (a difficult part of the job, made easier if the starter motor is removed and a dog tooth tool is bolted into the most suitable starter motor attachment bolt holes, the dog tooth is used to lock the flywheel while removing the crankshaft bolt holding the pulley (which is torqued to 76 nm when re-fitting. Use a puller to remove the pulley from the crankshaft and then remove the ten mm bolts holding the two parts of the timing belt cover. Set the engine to T.D.C (Top Dead Center) and look for the match marks for re-timing the engine when refitting the timing belt. Once alignment has been achieved release the bolt holding the tensioner bearing and push it all the way open, releasing all tension from the timing belt and remove the timing belt. The oil seal can now be removed from its housing. Fit a replacement oil seal smearing a light coating of grease on the seal lip. Press evenly into place, making sure of an even flush fit. Replace the timing belt with a new belt, Re-align the belt so that the match marks align precisely to those on the gears by fitting and adjusting on the straight side of the belt. Once correctly fitted, gently release the tensioner bearing until it comes into full contact with the belt and hand tighten the fixing bolt and then loosen half one turn. Remove the dog tooth tool. Screw in the crankshaft pulley bolt and apply enough force to take up slack and tighten the tensioner. Remove the crankshaft bolt and then reassemble opposite to disassembly. Remember to refit the dog tooth for re-tightening the crankshaft bolt.

hi, an old trick i learnt many years ago, put a single hex socket on the bolt, attach a sliding 'T' handle to the socket, pref, 3/4 drive, then make sure the end of the handle is sitting against the chassis member, or the concrete floor, then momentarily hit the start switch. this should free the bolt. if the handle is too short, fit a jack handle or something on the end to make it longer.

find the bolts attaching the bracket to the engine (possibley2 or 3) Buy a genuine replacement assy and fit get a new belt as the old one may have suffered damage. Replace where you removed the broken bit and adjust the belt to the correct tension

The belt tensioner is directly under the alternator, which is at the top rear of the engine (passenger side). The pulley is attached to the tensioner as an assembly. A 3/8" ratchet will fit into a square hole in it. Turn to the left to relieve the tension, remove belt. It has one bolt in the center to remove from engine.

Drain the cooling system. Place a large oil drain container under the drain fitting located on the bottom of the radiator. Turn the drain fitting counterclockwise until fluid is draining from the radiator. Use a pair of pliers to turn the drain fitting if you cannot turn it by hand. Turn the fitting clockwise to tighten it after all of the fluid has drained from the radiator.

Remove the cooling fan. Disconnect the electrical connection from the fan motor. Remove the bolts holding the fan assembly to the radiator support with a ratchet wrench. Pull the fan assembly up from the engine compartment and remove it.

Remove the serpentine belt. Place a wrench over the belt tensioner and rotate the tensioner to release the tension on the belt. Pull the belt off the pulleys and remove it from the vehicle.

Remove the water pump pulley. Place a screwdriver behind the pulley to lock it in place while removing the pulley mounting bolts with a ratchet wrench.

Disconnect the coolant hoses running to the water pump.

Remove the water pump mounting bolts with a ratchet wrench or wrench and remove the water pump from the vehicle.

Clean the mating surfaces of the engine block and new water pump with a towel saturated with lacquer thinner.

Apply a thin layer of RTV sealer to both sides of the new water pump gasket and place the gasket on the new water pump.

Place the water pump against the engine block and finger tighten the water pump mounting bolts to hold the pump in place. Tighten the bolts with a torque wrench to 18 foot-pounds.

Place the pulley on the water pump and install the water pump pulley mounting bolts with a ratchet wrench.

Attach any hoses previously disconnected from the water pump.

Install the serpentine belt. Route the belt over the pulleys according to the routing diagram in the engine compartment. Place a wrench over the belt tensioner and rotate the tensioner to tighten the tension on the belt.

Install the cooling fan. Gently lower the cooling fan in position and install the mounting bolts attaching the fan assembly to the radiator support with a ratchet wrench. Attach the electrical connection to the fan motor.

Refill the cooling system to the appropriate level, start the vehicle and check for leaks around the water pump.

I'd guess that your intending to replace the timimg belt and the engine is turning whenever you try to loosen the pulley bolt.

• Your best and easiest way of going about the job is to remove the starter motor.
• Disconnect the battery.
• Remove the cables from the starter motor (The thin one for the solenoid and the thick cable for the HT power.
• Remove the starter motor retaining bolts.
• Remove the starter motor.
• From here we can take two directions
• a) Get a friend to help you, who should lock the fly wheel with a large flat screw driver by locking the rotation by placing the screw driver in the ring gear, while you loosen that bolt up front.
• b) Get a toothed clamp made up that will fit into the ring gear and lock the fly wheel when fitted using one of the starter motor retaining bolts. This requires a job handed over to a machine shop. (a bit expensive for a single job)
• When fitting the pulley bolt remember it should be tightened to a torque of 98nm

You have to watch out that the screw driver doen't slip while loosening or tightening

on the brake brake calipper ther is a small fitting on it the size of the fitting bolt is 8mm or 10 mm loosen the bolt and then inser a transparent hose with a small emty bottle of brake fluid...just make a small hole on the bottle cup and insert the hose on it..someone will press the brake ten times then press it stedy and then open the fitting on the brake calipper repeat this proceedure untill u can see that there is no bubles comming out on the hose...but check the fluid bottle make it sure that there is always fluid on it....if u do the bleeding engine should be running......

look thru the front hold of pS pulley
see bolt hole (missing bolt now)
replace this bolt and belt
then tension it.
then tighten this missing bolt.

done.
just like mine.
im doing a timing belt now.
this is an interference motor , you do too.

there is bolts you have to take out of the flywheel that bolts to the torque converter
