Im looking for the belt pattern for a 2001 mitsubishi eclipse spyder 3.0L V6 with a dual cam.

Normally, there are factory tools that you use to lock the cams before you take the old belt off. Take a look at the videos in the link.

The ignition coil and cam sensor are built into the distributor.

on the buttom of oil pan take 1 bolt out and 1 wire off it

It won't run if the timing is off that far.

make sure all surfaces are clean and then a smear of grease and thats all is needed

mcdevito75 here, I would have the locl auto electrical shop take a look.

Josh, take the battery to Sears or a large auto parts store and have them test the condition.They do it for free. A battery will play the radio or run the lights with no trouble.It takes alot of amp power to turn the starter over. After you get it started check the volts across the battery.It should be just over 12 and less than 14 volts. If its not the alternator is not chargeing your battery,replace it.
