Jeff is our Professional vehicle technician, work with him. Hook up a scan tool and read the codes from the flashing light. Also check there is some transmission fluid in it.
When your Trac light flashes, it is an indication that your transmission is sending diagnostic codes. You can visit your local parts store, and see if can read the codes for your. GL.
You have a misfire on one or more cylinders. The Engine light is flashing to warn you that you are causing sever damage to the catalytic converter by continuing to drive it under these conditions. The trac off light might be caused by another issue as well...... but with a misfire the PCM will disable the traction control because is cuts cylinders to help maintain traction, if your already experiencing a misfire it can no longer do that.
