I need the code to unlock my car sterio, its the orginal cd player in the 2000 galant, PLEASE HELP i need my music

unlock codes?
like for the radio or the keyless door code?

either way you need a professional scanner like the snap-on modis @ $8000 or assistance of the dealer or a really good technician

Use preset 1 to set digit 1, preset 2 to set digit 2, etc
Once the code displayed is correct, push your unlock button to unlock the radio.
The unlock button varies by model, but is always either AM/FM, CD, or TAPE.
There is no penalty for pushing the wrong unlock button as long as your code is correct.

If you have locked out the radio from failed code attempts (radio reads "OFF", you will need to leave the key in the ACCESSORY position with the radio displaying OFF for approximately 1 hour. After which time the radio will revert to CODE and you can enter your code then.

Your code should be 2101.

if the cd can be ejected try another cd. if it still will not play the motor mechanism is defective

Take it to a mitsubishi dealer and 90% of the time they will not even charge you to look up the code,Do not guess at the code it can lock the radio.
My brother works for mitsubishi and he told me this.

On the code, I assumed all cars had different codes. In case this is not true, try 1791. The radio prompts for the code. Using station preset buttons #1-4, enter the four didit code. Push #1 once, then #2 seven times, etc. After all four didgits entered, I pushed the "CD" button, and voila. Good luck!

try to remove the battery and then connect it again.see if it will say code.if it doesnt work,call cus2mer serv of mitsu,

disconnect battery and then try to re-enter code, then press cd on radio

Not unless it was written down in there by the oridginal purchaser so you will have to write VIN# down and phone the dealer and they will be able to give you the code along with how to do this also it must be a factory sterio hope this helps
