This is the firing order for all Chrysler Small Block Engines (273, 318, 340, 360). Top is the Left Bank, Bottom is the Right Bank (in case the picture isn't clear)
The firing order for the 318 is 18436572 with the divers side bank being from front 1357 and the passenger side is 2468 front to rear. The distributor rotation is clockwise.
Distributor: ............3 ....4..............6... .......................(+)-screw: rounded-end of Cap 8......................5 (+)-screw: square end of Cap .....1...............7 ..............2 .........(front)

The correct firing order for the engine is 1=8=4=3=6=5=7=2. Standing in front of the engine the right bank is odd numbered. and the left bank is even numbered. Also check to see if you are getting fuel to the carburator. Hope this will help you.
