clogged fuel filter, or it may be that the fuel pump is going bad. change filter, and while you have the line off, have a bottle ready, and put it over the line to catch the fuel. have someone turn on the key, but don't crank it, and see if you have fuel coming into the bottle. if so, then you may just have a bad fuel filter.
Go under the van, the fuel filter will be in the fuel supply line, the fuel supply line is a 3/8" steel line. I will say that this symptom is not really a fuel filter symptom
have someone listen to your gas tank while turning the key from off to run. if theres no sound, goto the rear passenger side fender cover and remove (inside the van) theres a little red button down in the rear corner. check to make sure its pushed in (inersia switch for fuel cutoff). also check fuses. if you hear the pump check, the fuel filter.
Have you checked to see if it's getting fuel? try shooting some starting fluid into the intake if it tries starting then you have a plugged fuel filter or fuel pump.
I believe that the fuel filter for this model is located under the van on the driver's side, inside of the frame rail, just below the driver's door. The filter is connected to the fuel lines by either threaded in lines or clips. When you go to your parts dealer, get a good look at the filter so that not only will you know what your looking for to replace, but also to know what tools maybe needed to do the job. The parts guy can get you the right tools. Nothing like a good excuse to buy more tools! If this repair doesn't solve your issue, try getting under the van and have someone turn the key to start while you listen for the buzz of the fuel pump from under the fuel tank. If you don't hear it, make sure the van can't move and tap on the center, bottom of the fuel tank with a rubber mallet while they crank the engine over. If it starts, you probably need a fuel pump. A bad fuel filter and/or a bad fuel pump will not turn on your check engine light. Good luck!
i believe the fuel pump is in the tank, all you have to do is have someone turn the key on but do not start and you should be able to hear the pump working for a few seconds,no sound the pump is bad,or could be the fuel pump relay
