This is a simple bulb replacement.Simply pop off the access cover(if you need to) then twist the bulb in a counter-clockwise motion to remove it.Install is opposite of removal.I hope I could help, rate me accordingly, Thanks.
Do you have a rear spoiler? If you do, they disable the light in the rear windshield and the light on the spoiler operates as your 3rd brake light.

you have a broken wire some were if you cant find it you can run a seperate power wire from the third brake light to the brake lights but i would check for power at the brake lights first to make sure its not a ground problem
