This car come with tree diferent engines the answer i'm going to give you is for a 1.7 engine sohc that codes means you have a leak on the evaporative system this system monitor the vapors from fuel tank this code some time might appear for filling the fuel tank with car runing i recomend you to clear code and make sure the fuel cap is not loose because there is a fuel pressure sensor in the tank and if the sensor don't read the right pressure then it will set the code

You will have to get the engine trouble codes read to see if the same problem you had fixed still exists or a new problem is now there.

2000 Accord LX, 4 Cyl. check engine light and error codes P1457, P1739

A very common late 90's code, P1457 is a failure in one of the evap system solenoid valves. There are 2 culprits, the Vent Control Valve & the 2 Way Bypass Valve. So, start working with those and see if you can get the 1457 code off of it.

I also looked around about the 1739 code as well which a transaxle error. However, I've found that there has been more than enough reported cases of problems of the such. Take a look at this link, and do a little reading.

I hope this helps you out.
