The device that was used to boost the dead car(mercedes),is called wonder charger, which runs from the cigarette lighter's.that was when she noticed the interior light's go out in the cadillac, the moment the device was put in the dead car cigarette lighter outlet.I did check all fuses they look good, but in the car manual there is a inadvert relay which half is male the other female it's located next to the fuse box in the engine compartment,Do you think this could be the problem?(everything that was blown, seem's to lead to this relay according to the manual.

There is an alternate problem with the wiring in the cigarette lighter where the wire melts and breaks. If you pull out the cigarette lighter assembly you will see a place where one wire splits into two. Find the damage point and replace the wire with a thicker one.

There's a starter relay in the fuse box under the hood. Have a friend touch the top while you turn the key. If he doesn't feel a slight "tap" then it's most likely blown. Replace. Cheap.

Battery Draining on 2003 Chrysler 300M

Are you sure that all interior lights go off? Make sure the vanity mirrors actually go off when the doors are closed. Glove compartment light, map lights. Some had center console lights. Check for a short at the cigarette lighters. Use an ohm meter and check for continuity to ground at supply wires.

1996 Jimmy brake light fuse keeps blowing even when you open the door any suggestions?

CHECK YOUR CIGARETTE LIGHTER FOR FOREIGN OBJECTS, (COINS, PAPERCLIPS) MOST GMC OF THAT YEAR HAVE LIGHTERS THAT SHORT OUT. ALSO TRY DISCONNECTING THEM. DOME LAMPS, CIGARETTE LIGHTERS, VANITY MIRRORS, STOP LAMPS ARE ON THE SAME CIRCUIT. HOPE THIS HELPS YOU.

Fuse for the cigarette lighter in Infinity FX35

is the only thing not working the cigarette lighter? the fuse that operates it is usually the accessories fuse, it normally operates the interior light as well, which fuse box have you checked, there is most likely one under the bonnet & there also may be one under the dash as well, it might well be that the cigarette lighter element is the problem, try another lighter....hope this helps....cheers

No interior dome lights , vanity, or cigarette lighter

If it's where most silverado's have it, open driver door, on the side of the dash, there is a panel door, behind it are the fuses, there is another fuse block under the hood, a black box.
