Car was running well then just refused to start.Computer indicated throttle position sensor. Replaced that, then crank sensor, then cam position sensor. Then took car to a repair shop. They thought cam belt, all looked good. They then said wire to crank position sensor bad and replaced it. Car then started with miss fire. The repair shop then replaced all plug wires and plugs. car still miss fires, they then replaced the coil pack.Car still miss fires on passenger side cylinders. The car starts and runs on the driver side cylinders only. What gives with this?

Its possible there are multiple coil packs usually one for each bank or one for every two cylinders. Or check for a ignition control module

The car cranks but will not start. There is good fuel pressure but no spark. Thinking it could be the cam sensor or the throttle position sensor. Any other possible causes for the non start

Yes, check your plugs and wires... the throttle body and also check all of your vacuum hoses as well.

Pull one or more of your spark plugs and check to see if they are dry or damp with oil. This could be the result of bad rocker cover seal and or the seals around your spark plug chambers.

When attempting to start the car, if it turns over but no spark, then check plugs and wires, if you hear a clicking noise, then it could be a blown starter motor.

Why does my truck crank fine and run good except for a hard random miss every so often while driving down the road?

You'll probably need a shop to check it out.
The code for the cam sensor usually means the computer is not getting a signal, or it is not in sync with the crank. Since you replaced the sensor, the problem could be the cam or the circuit between the sensor and the engine computer.
There is a flow chart with tests to run for each trouble code.

Car cranks wont start

run fault codes to find the faulty sensor that is not allowing the injectors to work. It may be a cam position sensor . Check that the cam shaft is turning ( broken timing belt.)

I haved a 1989 Buick Park Avenue 3.8 engine...I have replaced the starter, coil pack, ignition module, crank sensor and cam sensor and still cannot get it to fire...I really NEED this car to run so PLEASE...

ok ! did you mean its got spark but does not start. if spark but does not start. check to see if its getting fuel to engine. remove air hose from throttle body and spray some starting fluid in throttle body, open throttle plate and spray some in. if car starts then stops, its a fuel problem. if no spark check the harmonic balancer on engine to see if its loose, the 3.8 engine have a crank position sensor that runs off the balancer. the rubber starts wearing out and the balancer start flopping around. and the timing gets massed up. good-day ! type in on pc browser ignition switch symtoms, and a list of things will come up. for a ignition switch controls over 50% of voltage for vehicle. good-day !

1996 Ford Taurus SHO 3.4. Intermittant starting problem. Welded cams. First instance a couple of months ago. Had it towed to a local shop. Once there the car started right up. They kept it for the day...

try replacing the gas cap,may be vapor locked, check throttle position sensor by holding the pedal to the floor while cranking,if it starts then replace the sensor,if not it probably works
