The timing belt should be changed every 60,000 miles on the 2000 Chrysler 2.5 Liter V6. This is an interference engine and as such if the belt breaks you will have serious internal engine damage. The cam belt also drives the water pump so you would be wise to replace the water pump at the same time you replace the cam belt. For sure replace it at the 120,000 miles mark. Do not neglect this repair our it can cost you dearly if the belt breaks.

Every 50,000 miles or every 4 years, whichever comes first.

It is recommended to replace every 100,000 miles and also do the waterpump and check the timing belt pulleys.

1996 Chrysler Sebring LXI 2.5, V6 engine. Where is my water pump located exactly.

Question edited for clarity.
Question moved to 'year make model' category.

It located under the timing belt cover and is the central pulley between the two camshaft sprockets. It is not a job for the faint of heart as keeping the cam sprockets locked on place is essential.

2000 sebring lxi died at intersection motor will crank but no spark or gas

Yikes, that sounds like the engine controller bit the dust. you will need a shop with a good scanner to diagnose and fix that.

Show me a picture of the water pump on a 2000 Chrysler Cirrus LXI

The pump is part of the timing components. You only want to do this one time. So replace all the timing components. You don't have to replace the crank or cam gears.

I need a diagram to put on a serpintine belt for a Chrystler Seebring LXI 2 door Coupe

There should be a diagram somewhere under hood. If not, check shop manual (might be able to just look at one a parts store if you feel it is too expensive to buy).

I have changed the timing belt on my 2002 Chrysler Sebring LXI coupe and the car runs great when it stays running. When I shut the car off and start it back up it just starts and dies but if i unhook the...

Check the throttle plates and idle speed control motor make sure there both clean.

Also check manifold vacuum at idle the best you can hold an idle. I have run into timing belt being one tooth off and engine still ran fine. But the vacuum was low that's how I could tell the belt was a tooth off.

How often do i replace the timing chain 1999 chrysler sebring lxi

The belt is supposed to last for 105,000 miles. These sebring cars are notorious for breaking timing belts well before then. If your car has over 80,000 on it I would schedule a timing belt change in the near future. Don't be surprized if you have to also change the water pump.
