If there is nothing jammed in the barrel, you will need to pull apart the lining of the interior of the door, disconnect the power motor for that switch, then see if it locks by key, sounds like the motor is seized, of out of allignment, easily fixed with a second hand or reco motor, or witha simple adjustment. Several causes possible.
Carburattor or injection type?
Carburator >> auto choke faulty.
Carburator >> mixture very wrong adjusted
Drawning carburator (needle/floater)
Distributor weights cannot move (dirt/rust spring broken)
Very dirty airfilter, or clogged airfilter
Faulty ignition cap. Check contacts, especially middle one if oldfashioned and nonelectronical.
Ignition timing set incorrectly.
Fuel pump broken.
Fuel filter blocked almost.
Vacuum line damaged.
Exhaust internally clogged by loose plate (corrossion) (potato in tailpipe effect).
And very seldom, water or diesel.
And a list of a lot of other things.

Its not your fuel pump! Its the cracks on the soldering inside the main relay.

DID YOU HAVE SPARK IN THE SPARK PLUG WIRES WHAT YOU CAN DO IS TAKE OFF ONE OF THE WIRES FROM THE SPARK PLUG AND PUT A FLAT SCREW DRIVER INSIDE THE WIRE AND PUT IT CLOSE TO THE METAL SO THE WIRE GETS GROUND AND HAVE SOME ONE TO CRANK THE ENGINE AND YOU GOING TO SEE THE SPARK IF YOU DONT SEE SPARK SO THAT IS YOU POBLEM
