I Can't figure out which fuse goes for the radio.The radio went out and I hope its a fuse. I have no book for the car and the only fuse box I found is under the hood and there's no writing on them, as far as which fuse is for what.

Okay Deb,check your fuse in the fuse box inside your car.

UNDER THE HOOD THERE A LONG BLACK BOX WITH A COVER TO IT NEXT TO THE BATTERY AND IT GOES THERE WHEN YOU LIFT THE COVER OFF TURN IT OVER AND IT WILL TELL YOU WHERE IT GOES .....GOOD LUCK FINDING IT

Remove fuse labelled "dome" on engine compartment fuse box. unfortunately this also isolates the radio. I have found when re connecting battery alarm goes off. remove "dome" fuse and then replace it. all ok then.

First off, not all the slots need a fuse. Some are dummy slots for options your car may not have. Next check your hand book, should be in the glove box. That book will tell you where what fuse does what. Next, what on the car does not work? Look closely at the fuse box for a description of the fuse that goes there. If you do not have the hand book try a auto parts store for a manual stand there and read it till to memorize it go outside and look at you cars fuses.

yes there is it is more than likely located in the insde fuse box but you will need to located the box and your vehicle book to know which fuse you need to replace if you do not have a book you can either order one or use a fuse tester to figure out which fuse has blown

I had the same exact issue today on my 86 Fiero. The Radio and Horn stopped working same time. There is a 20 amp fuse that is marked for the Horn but no mention of the radio. It is in the middle of the Fuse box. 86 -88 should have the same fuse box. ( If you reference the Chilton book they say the fuse is for Horn Cigarette lighter etc. but again no mention of the radio) I just happened to check this fuse (It was blown) and sure enough everything came back. Hope this helps......

Fuse box is located in the engine compartment. Over the drivers side wheel well. just lift the large rectangular cover.

There will be a diagram on the back side of the fuse box cover. Use it to identify which fuse belongs to the sound system.
