2006 honda accord 4-cyl. The blower fan doesn't work. When it is disconnected, the 12v to the blower fan connector is there--as soon as I hook it back up the fan starts to spin then immediately stops--12v is now 0v. I removed the blower fan and it spins when hooked up to an external 12v supply, drawing about 2 amps.

The blower motor is connected to a termic switch, when the motor is fine and fuse is ok, is the switch that must be replaced.

Ensure the fuse is ok first.

SOURCE: honda accord 2004 4 cyl a/c completely stopped working suddenly

You could have a slow leak. Once the charge goes below a set point the pressure switch will not allow the a/c to turn on. Have the freon level checked?

SOURCE: blower motor 1991 honda accord ex

the blower motor is located behind and under the glove box. its held to the blower housing by three screws. remove the three screws and the motor will slide down and towards you. to test the motor. apply power to the yelllow/black wire and ground to the blue/red wire. the motor should run. if not you prob have a faulty power resistor. 0881be0.jpg

Is there a fuse that run the air condition inthe honda odyssey 2006

Hondas all have a fuse and blower relay located in the battery junction block. You can try swapping relays around if the fuse is good. Then verify the blower motor is good by disconnecting it and applying 12v directly to the motor. If this checks good, check for 12v at the blower connector while disconnected, (key on/fan on). Had a CRV in the shop a few days ago with the exact same issue, power to the motor but a weak ground signal. Replaced the blower resistor.

Ac/heater fan doesn't work

According to my wiring diagram, the blue and white wire from the blower motor gets power from the key switch. The fan switch and resistor grounds the motor.
No blower fuse is listed.

Why dont the blower work on my 1990 honda accord LX

Is it all speeds it doesn't work or just certain speeds? 2 posssible things to look for first is either the blower is bad or else the variable speed resister may be bad. There is a chance that the switch is bad but I would check the other first. If you can pull the blower motor and put 12v to it and it works, then it might be the resister. If you only have certain speeds that work then it may be the resister.

Hi, I have a 2006 Passat and the blower motor is not working on any position. If I turn the knob to 1 - 4 and switch the AC button on it lights up and as soon as i turn the know to position 0, the AC...

The blower motor resistor may be the cause of it not working. They cost roughly $12. Here is a video on how to replace them:

Vw passat b6 2006 -2015 heater blower fan resistor replacement ...

I would try to isolate the blower motor power connection, disconnecting anything from the motor and jumpering 12V DC directly into it to see if it will run when power is applied. That would rule out a bad motor. These are good places to start.

Replace the blower motor.

Under the glove box:

Disconnect the blower motor power transistor electric connector (the transistor is far over to the left, with a curly wire coming down to it.)

Remove the blower motor power transistor mounting screws the remove the transistor.

Disconnect the electrical connector from the blower motor (slightly to the right of the motor).

Remove the blower motor mounting screws and then remove the blower motor assembly.
(there are, I believe, 3 screws; 1 just below the connector; 1 above the connector, higher up, and slightly to the left; and 1 over to the left of the blower motor)

Remove the circlip from the blower motor shaft to release the fan from the motor.

Installation is reverse.

Hope this helps you deal with it.
