Keeps saying a door is ajar when it is not. It acts as if it has a loose wire but it does everything whether its moving or not. Inside light blinks, the chime goes off and it flickers between door ajar and the info. HAPPENS CONSTANTLY! I checked all the door latches nothing is loose all the doors and hatches are closed tight.

I would bet you have a bad door switch. The switch is attached to the door latch (the part that holds the door closed. The hard way to figure out what is gong on is to, one at a time, remove the door panels, unplug the switch, and see if the problem goes away. The easy way is to scan the GEM/body module and watch door data. The door that says open when it is closed is the door to concentrate on.

You can also try spraying penetratinglube into the door latch area. Sometimes this will loosen up a stuck switch. Open and close the door several times after spraying.

Door ajar on all 4 doors is keeping light on and draining battery Which relay controls this?

Ok first is the message center saying that all doors are open if you have this feature , or is it just that the light is staying on and you don't know which door is doing it, I will go with the later if you have door pins that control the lights/door ajar one is broken/ or the actual door lock striker that's bolted to the frame is loose at the lock to check push in on the door/s if they move inwards even a little bit the ground for the interior light is open and this turns on the light/alarm and will stay on until this is fixed //if all doors are good and strikers are tight and adjusted properly holding the door/s in then there are 1 wire connectors on each door latch lock assembly that either corrosion has stopped the electrical contact or it fell off the tab from looseness or the wire has completely broken off/this also applies to the door pins that I mentioned earlier if it applies no year, make, model of vehicle given inquestion? If you check all mentioned here and they are all connected clean and tight the interior light part of your light switch broke inside and the lights staying on // if it was a relay they control accessories inside and the locks would be cycling as well as the power windows /// for door pins unbolt it and pull out each connector and close the door the light will go out when you have the right one and leave it that way till you can get a new one or a junkyard replacement

When door is opened inside light starts blinking and power loss alarm and door ajar stays on after the door has been shut

Sounds like the door switch has the wires backwards.. Should be three wires to connect on the spades.. If on wrong. It thinks the door is still open.

My righr rear door sensor say door ajar

I have the same problem with my left rear door (it also sets off the alarm at times when parked). I take some wd40 and spray it into the inside lock slide and move it back and forth a few times. that seems to fix it.

Liftgate door ajar warning light

Have someone stand at liftgate and press the switch in. If the warning goes off, then your switch just needs adjusting or the small flat block that acts like your partners finger is missing or misaligned. The door hinge pins should not be a problem unless there is damage to the area or a teenager was using the door as a tarzan swing. The BCM is a possibility (rare), but it is much more likely a contact problem behind the switch - ie. a loose connection, chaffed wire or short. Good luck.

Keeps saying door ajar and already skirted with wd 40

The door ajar switch is the problem and it is inside the door and is sealed, so WD40 will not work, you must remove the door panel and the rear glass run channel and then replace the door ajar micro switch at the rear of the door latch, it has a 2 wire connector to it

Door ajar light and interior lights

There is a push button switch in the door frame possibly covered with a rubber boot you may have bent the push pin and it is shorted to the frame, Remove the switch and ensure the wire is still attached to the switch and not loose inside the frame

While driving, the interior lights and locks went off and on

Check Body Control Module OF Vehicle. This Module Acts As A Switchboard commanding on or off of what ever function inside of vehicle you turn on, wipers, blinkes interior lights etc, possible ground wire to or from control module or possibly bad module!
