Hi
Is the vehicle Diesel or Petrol/Gasoline if its a petrol/Gasoline engine it may not have a fuel filter you can change its usually a micro filter inside the fuel tank that is a life long filter. Crazy I know but this is the case in a lot of Petrol cars
I hope this helps Nick
The petrol Citro C3 with 1.4 L doesn't have a fuel filter if it only has one fuel rail. The fuel filter is built into the fuel pump.Citroen Company recommends changing the fuel pump every 10 years .Unless you ran your tank on empty a few times and overheated the fuel pump and it went out?
you have probably got a blockage in either the fuel filter or carb,so first check filter,if ok check carb.take fuel line of carb turn engine over see if fuel comes out if it does then filter ok if not change filter,
On 2007 Toyota Hiace the petrol fuel filter is integrated in the fuel pump assembly placed inside fuel tank. It's not possible to change the petrol fuel filter without remove the fuel pump out from the tank. The petrol fuel filter is for fuel pump life.
Are you sure you ran out of petrol? It might be that the petrol pump or something else had died. The only way to tell is to undo the fuel line from the carb and turn it over, check if it pumps fuel (have someone help you with this.) You might also find that you've got a blockage in your fuel filter, caused maybe by **** left floating at the top of the tank that was sucked in when you ran out of petrol. Check the filter first and see if it's OK, then check if fuel is flowing. Also, on a 97 Alfa, I'd imagine it was fuel injected though I could be wrong. If it is then you'll want to be more careful wit the fuel line.
The fuel filter is in the petrol tank. You will have to drop the tank to remove the old filter. Make sure the tank is empty as it is plastic so you need to have it as light as possible.
Hi for anyone who has a ford Escort 1.4 ltr petrol and is unsure where the fuel filter is it is located underneath the rear of the car behind the fuel tank and is held up buy a bracket and one bolt
