2005 jeep grand cherokee hello the middle seatbelt in the rear seat middle is not coming our I am unable to use the seat belt seems like it is stuck what can I do to try and fix the problem without having to replace it and if I have to replace it how do I do it?

The seat belt does not work on an ignition locking device. Need to remove side panel and visually inspect roller and gear locking mechanism.

I have had this happen to me several times. Working in salvage yard I see it all.. if you have "NO OTHER ALTERNATIVE" and you plan on replacing the seat track.. cut it with a saw. I know it sounds primitave.. but those tracks run on a belt, and there is no way to make the seat move without power.

take it to your dealer and tell them the problem they should be able to fix/relpace the seat belt

it may have grime or a coin in it

For the seat bottom, you just need to pull it up. The seat backs would have to be unbolted.

you have to get to the seat anchor bolt and remove it to take the tension off the seat belt and fold the seat up then it should come loose and you can pun the bold back in
