I think my van has a clogged windshield nozzle. The wiper fluid comes out but doesn't even squirt high enough to hit the windshield.

First try to clean out the squirter nozzles.Take a very small wire, sometimes a staple works great, and stick it into the nozzle to clear any debris. Then try to spray it again. If this didn't solve the problem and the debris is cleared, then you either have a weak or blocked pump, which is located on the washer reservoir itself.Hope I could help!!! Rate me accordingly!! Thanks!

Try unhooking the hose from just one spray nozzle, then see how far that line sprays.if it sprays lots higher the nozzles are clogged ,if there is not much improvement replace the washer pump usually located in bottom of washer fluid container.

Windshield washer fluid not spraying

Sounds to me part of the tubing is frozen shut from the pump to nozzle, nozzle may be clogged as well. The pump motor might run, but pump on the end faulty. Remove tubing from pump and see if it squirts out, if so replace tubing to pump and remove tubing from nozzle on hood or wiper, check to see if it squirts from there. IF it does then your nozzle is clogged with wax or ice.

My 2006 Dodge Dakota windshield washer fluid does not spray. I checked the washer pump and it works. The fuses are all good. And the wipers work. When I press the windshield washer button inside the truck...

If the pump works, something should be flowing thru the hose to the spray nozzles.
And if the pump works, everything electrical is working.
How do you know the pump works ?

Only one winshied wiper spray works

Check the rubber hoses to the sprayers. If they are on the hood they can come unplugged when you open it. Have a friend work the sprayers as you watch for leaks. An old toothbrush can be used to clean spray nozzles by scrubbing over the hole.

Windshield washer will not squirt

Make sure you have water or windshield wiper fluid in the reserve (open your hood and add more, look for a blue plastic cap) if you hear it humming when you turn it on then the pump is working. Also check the little nozzles on the hood (one on each side) and see if they are clogged, stick a small safety pin into the holes and move it in and out to free up ant debris inside that may stop the water from squirting out

WINDSHIELD WASHER FLUID

Could be that the line is clogged, or the spray nozzle itself is clogged up a bit. Begin by inserting a piece of fine wire into the nozzle, that may solve your problem.

Windsheild Wiper Fluid will not squirt on windshield

While you were filling the tank you may have disconnected the pump wires. If you can hear the pump activating when you use the switch then the pump may have gotten clogged , check for sediment in the tank.  For the person with the mustang - if its only coming out of one side then its a nozzle clogged or a pinched hose.
