I can't open my hood on my 93 9000 cse saab, i pull the latch but the hood doesn pop up at all, please help

Sounds like your hood latch is worn out. When this happens the hood cable gets stretched out and will prevent the hood from opening. The best thing to do is where you pull the leaver to open the hood , disconnect the cable from the latch you pull and use a pair of pliers to pull it and it should pop right open.

Don't pull up on the front, but press down hard, while someone pulls on the handle.

Try whacking it some more there, too, while latch is being pulled. Another place to hit is at rear of hood on driver's side.
If it still won't open, you may have to get your hand on the hood latch to move the lever that the handle cable attaches to. The lever would have to move towards the driver's side to pop the latch. Sometimes a long screwdriver poked up from underneath may reach the latch. Or you may be able to get your hand in past the grill, or remove the grill to get your hand to the latch.
When you do get it open, put a few drops of oil on the latch mechanism, and see if any adjustments can be made to open it easier either on the hood itself, or the latch mechanism. Just about all cars have a way to adjust the latch.

try to get under the car with a flash light and see if you can see the latch. if you can, try to locate the cable from the latch and grab it with some pliers and pull to release.

Have some one pull the handle and some one smack the hood where the latch is, or pull up on the hood with the handle pulled.

have someone pull the latch while you press down , then lift on the hood.

you will have to pop the mechanism open from under the car this may be a little difficult you will need a very long screw driver or a pry bar and hopefully you be able to see the latch from under the car.if you can then reach up and manually release the latch once open you will have to replace your cable or the cable tie down which ever is bad. if not you will have to make a new release that you can use on the outside of the car.

Don't understand the question.. Their is no fluid for the hood?? Its maual pop from inside the car and you go to the front of the car, release the latch and open it up...

The steering wheel does not tilt. It does telescope, pull lever on bottom of steering column.

NO there is no manual way . get a good flash light and look at teh latch through the grill or from under the truck and try and pop it with a long flat blade screw driver

Usually you can grab the end of the cable with a good pair of visegrips and get it to release. However, if the lock under the hood is stuck, you may have to pull on cable and have someone push down on the hood to get the latch to unlock.
