03' silverado 2500hd ex. cab. DDM works speraticly given three options. Case one is D. window dead and all other switches work. Case two D.window functions normaly and locks,mirrors and pass. window dead. OR Case three d. window dead, lock work, and passenger window "DELAYED", speratic. Pulled a "communication error with DDM code". Is this a bad DDM or BCM flash issue?

I own a 2500 hd 4 door and my windows ,mirrors,doorlocks all started working slow and sometimes not at all. I Replaced the master control switch (driver side controls) and all is fine now.

Door Control Module Programming/RPO Configuration
The DDM/PDM must be programmed with the proper RPO configurations. The DDM/PDM stores the information regarding the vehicle options. If the DDM/PDM is not properly configured with the correct RPO codes the DDM/PDM will not control the features properly. Ensure that the following conditions exist in order to prepare for the DDM/PDM programming:
• The battery is fully charged.
• The ignition switch is in the RUN position.
• The DLC is accessible.
Follow the instructions on the Techline Terminal and scan tool to program the DDM/PDM.
If the DDM/PDM fails to accept the program, perform the following steps:
• Inspect all DDM/PDM connections.
• Verify that the Techline Terminal and scan tool have the latest software version.
This model always this problem, usually after about 90,000 miles and the other instruments will eventually follow. There are companies that will repair this for you just use google (instrumentclusters.com) to find them. I was charged 185.00 for the repair... GM wanted over 500.00!
REMOVE THE DOOR PANEL TO GET TO THE WINDOW MOTOR. REMOVE THE CONNECTOR ON THE MOTOR. LOOP A TEST LIGHT FROM BOTH TERMINALS. WITH THE KEY ON AND BOTH SWITCHES IN PLACE, CHECK TO OPERATION OF THE SWITCHES. IF THE LIGHT COMES ON IN BOTH DIRECTION THE WINDOW MOTOR IS BAD.
THERE IS A CIRCUIT BREAKER BUILT INTO THE WINDOW MOTOR. SOMETIME HITTING THE MOTOR WITH MAKE THE CIRCUIT BREAKER RESET BUT THE MOTOR WONT LAST LONG DOING THAT.
ALSO TRY PULLING DOWN ON THE WINDOW WHILE TRYING THE SWITCHES. THE WINDOW COULD JUST BE STUCK. THIS HAPPENED TO ME.
I am having the same problem on an 04 2500hd there isa 15 amp stop light fuse inside the cab on the side of the instrument panel and a 25 amp stop light fuse under hood. you could also have a break switch issue the switch is located up on the break pedal linkage you should have power on the white wire when you push the pedal in (check with a test light) in my case I have a broken wire along the frame rail in the harness it is a light blue wire,
You need to get it scanned for codes, if you have a B2725 then you have a 4WD switch problem, otherwise the fault is probably in the transfer case control module.
