Older vehicles usually do not have an actual oil cap. They have a PCV Valve. It is usually round and will have a 1/2" hose recirculating vapors. If you turn this about 90-180 degrees it will come off. This is where the oil goes...

Do you have the right mix on the coolant you have in the engine? Could you have trapped air in the coolant system, did you have the heater system on when you were filling up with coolant. I assume you changed the radiator cap when you replaced radiator. I guess it could be caused by headgasket, are you loosing coolant, does oil look milky or oil in coolant. Belo link list a few things to look at but you have addressed most of them. Ford Ranger Overheating (repairpal.com)
I'm assuming this is for a vehicle. Read the owners manual and purchase the correct oil and oil filter for the vehicle before starting. The workers at any automotive store can help with that also if you don't have the information needed. I like to do the air filter at the same time, you don't have to but it's good to. If possible it's always to change the oil warm NOT HOT! Park the vehicle, put on the parking brake then open the hood/engine compartment. Look for the oil fill cap and loosen but do not remove. Directly under the engine there is an oil pan. On the pan there should be a bolt, make sure your not messing with the transmission. Put a drain pan under the bolt then remove bolt letting the oil drain into the pan. Once it is just barely dribbling out reinstall the drain bolt. Some have what is called a crush washer, either way DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN!!! If you do you could strip the threads then you will have BIG problems. Now find the oil filter, put drain pan under that also and remove the oil filter. Sometimes people over-tighten them so it might be a little tough. Once that is removed pour a little of the new oil into the filter and rub some on the rubber ring on the new filter. Now install new filter. It only has to be hand tight, you do not need to tighten it with a wrench of any kind. MAKE SURE THE DRAIN BOLT HAS BEEN REINSTALLED then remove oil fill cap on the top of the engine and fill oil to manufacturer specs. Check oil level with dip stick,if good reinstall oil fill cap and dispose of oil correctly at a recycle center.
This is a code for the fuelcap and Emissions fuel venting system. Perhaps a line was in the way of the oil fill and you jarred it loose. Your gas cap may also not be sealing.
Very easy on this car. You don't even need to put the car up if you're not a big person. Remove the oil fill cap on the valve cover the warm and off engine. Unbolt the oil pan drain bolt at the bottom (don't lose the gasket) and let the oil drain out. Clean off bolt hole face and put the gasket and bolt back on. Bolt does not need much torque. Unscrew the oil filter on the front of the engine (might need filter wrench). Clean off filter face and make sure old gasket is removed (usually comes off with the filter). Put on new filter. Do not overtighten
While underneath, look around for leaks, damage to CV joint boots, cracks in hoses, etc.
Fill with about 3.5 qt 10-30W oil. Put oil fill cap back on. Run engine for about 30 sec. Shut off and check for leaks. Check oil level on dipstick after a couple minutes of engine running and add oil if needed.
Mark date and odometer in your log book. Recycle used oil.
to change your oil you will need to get some running boards so your truck will be up on angle for the oil to drain. Get an oil catcher for the old oil to drain in and some oil catch clothes for incase of spill. find the drain plug under the oil pan and loosen slow till oil comes out and make sure the catch is there and dont bring the plug out fast do it slow, after all oil is drained then you must remove the oil filter, its located on the side bottom of the engine what you will need is a gripper ring that goes around the filter to loosen it then take it off and be careful they will be some oil still inside it. when putting on the new filter make sure the oil plug is screwed back in and you want to take some new oil and put around the black seal ring on the filter then only hand tighten it. fill your truck with the recamended oil. Now for the transmission fluid the procedure is the same for the oil except you probably dont need the truck up on the running boards any more. on the transmission they will be a drain plug and catch the old fluid please like the oil after its dry put plug back in and go under hood and get a small funnel and put in the check fluid hole and start filling with the recomended fluid and the suggested how much. or put two corts and stop and check with the check stick then just keep filling till it says full on the check stick level.
hello i will try to help you.If it has a carb then it needs to be rebuilt or better yet.if is multi port then pull the plugs and see what one looks a little diffrent. and change that one injector.both are not to hard to do.or cost that much at a shop. mabee 300.00 dollars
If it is milky it is coolant due to bad head gaskette.
If it looks like durt oil needs to be changed.
You can also check the oil dip stick fo deposition.

Hope this helps and again use with care if you have never turned a wrench before, people get hurt easily by being careless while working under a car.
