The temperature door actuator is located at the bottom of the heater housing at the center terminal. It looks like this:

To remove the actuator

  1. Remove the left and right underpanel silencer ducts.
  2. Remove the two retaining screws from the actuator which are accessible from the right side of the center stack.
  3. Remove the screw from the actuator on the left side.
  4. Pull the actuator straight down from the shaft and disconnect the electrical wire. Upon removal, matchmark the shaft position of the actuator, because the shaft on this motor is keyed.

1999 chrysler concorde. Heater blows only warm air. Replaced water pump thermostat and had radiator flushed. What is the problem

This is most likely being caused by a defective air temperature control blend door and or actuator. This part moves back and forth deep inside the HVAC ducting to divert air across the Heater core or the AC Evaporator core, when they fail or stick they can create this issue.

Replace blend door in 07 Chrysler sebring

The most likely problem is either the blend door actuator or a broken blend door itself.
Both are only accessible by complete removal of the instrument panel(dash).
The blend door actuator can be tested with a Chrysler factory scan tool hooked up to the DLC(data link connector). If blend door actuator is working when tested with the factory scan tool, then blend door itself is at fault.
The only other way to test the blend door actuator is to test for 12v at connector, but you would have to remove the instrument panel in order to gain access to the actuator

Heater won't turn off when it is turned off

Usually a sign of a faulty blend door actuator under the dash. The blend doors direct air thru the heater core and vents.
