Is the temp gauge high?Does the car blow white smoke?Check the oil and see if you have antifreeze/water in the oil.You may have a blown head gasket.Im assuming you have a norhtstar motor.

I have a 1998 cadillac Seville sts it is overheating and leaking coolant.

That could be

- faulty thermostat
- faulty radiator fan drive
- leaky head gasket
- collapsed radiator hose
- sludged up radiator

If unsure how to check these things, see a mechanic. You can get a mobile mech to come to you.

97 cadillac sts overheating

If everything checks out ok like coolant level and no leaks I would replace the temp sensor for the fans it should be on top and when you buy one look for it on the top of the engine and make sure the fans spin freely by hand with the key in your pocket and engine cold. If they don't spin real easy you may have to replace them.

Overheating coolant boiling out into reserve tank

you have a blown head gasket.. doesn't have to have coolant in the oil for a blown head gasket... if hoses are rock hard when running then you have exhaust leaking into the coolant via a blown head gasket...

Car losing antifreeze water, no visable leaks, car overheating. 1998 buick century, v6

if you have no visible leaks and it is overheating then it sounds like you have a head gasket leak internally.the coolant is going some where .get the cooling system pressure tested to make sure you don`t have a leak externally.if the coolant is not leaking out the radiator then this indicates the thermostat is not stuck.what ever the problem is change the thermostat at the time of repair.

I need a cadillac seville sts 1998 4.3L & 32

Check for coolant flow at the Purge line, this is a common problem on the Northstar.
There is a small diameter hose coming from near the top of the coolant tank, this is the purge line.
With the engine idling, pull the purge line from the tank,if there is no coolant flow from this small hose,it is blocked and this will cause overheating. If the hose is clear, check for blockage at the nipple on the tank.

1998 caddy sts over heating and blowing cold air when heat is on

sounds like it might be low on coolant. Low coolant levels will stop the flow and circulation to the heater core, and also might be the cause of overheating
