If your a/c system is low on freon it will kick on and off frequently, have it checked for leaks cars don't just run out of freon.if that is fine make sure you are getting enough air in through the front of the car.if the condenser in front of the radiator is not being cooled by incoming air the high side of your a/c system will get to high and the compressor will kick off more frequently to let pressure off the system.

Clicking sound when ignition turned off

I had a similar issue on my Nissan sentra years ago. In my case it was the fuel injectors clicking because a diode in the cars computer had failed. It would only stop when I pulled the fuse for the injectors under the hood. You may have a similar issue. On mine it just sounded like a regular clicking under the hood. Very loud with the engine off

My air conditiner stop working in 2005 scion xb

Sounds like the clutch on the compresor unit is not working.

When your car is running turn the ac on and check under the hood you should be able to hear a click every few seconds, if you dont then turn off the engine and take the key out.

If it don't click, look for the wire coming from the compresor unit towards the wiring harnes there should be a plug check for corrosion inside the plug.

If it does then go to any auto parts store and locate the ac refill bottles and follow there instructions.

Hope this helped you.

My 93 plymouth voyager won't start unless I spray starting fluid down air cleaner, then it only runs a few seconds.

Listen for fuel pump when turning ignition to on position. If no pump sound, locate fuel pump fuse and relay in box under hood. First check fuse, then listen to relay while ignition is turned to on. Relay should click. If no click, replace relay. If click, circuits are good and pump is likely bad. Please reply if you have questions.

Air conditioner problem 2001 Dodge Pickup

Hello, It sounds like your hot/cold blend door actuator is either hanging up at times or it's loosing it's calibration range because it's starting to go bad. The ticking noise is most likely the actuator trying to close off the hot air port but is unable to stay closed allowing hot air to mix with the cold. If it's just a weak blend door actuator, it will act up more when the air is on full because it has more resistance due to air flow. If possible try to see if the times it acts up decreases when you start the A/C with low fan speed.

Humming noise under the hood

It could be the ABS. MY HONDA DOES THE SAME THING.
I took it to PepBoys yesterday and they could not connect to the
computer interface. They said I need to take it to a honda dealer
so they can connect and determine what is wrong with the
Automatic breaking system. The noise is the ABS motor
turning on and off.
