Check owners manual for your fuse box location. Remove and replace blown fuse. Normally located under driver side dash, passanger side dash or under your hood
that is normal for spedo to stop at 299999. I dont know why toyota did this but i read on there site that they made the spedo not go over that amount. maybe they did the same thing to check engine light. I dont know on that though.
the tail lights and stop lights are two separate bulbs or elements. You either have a blown stop light fuse or you need to replace the stop light bulb.
Hi!!
Look on the upper part of the brake pedal, it is the only device with an electrical connector, mark position or take a picture with you cell camera, disconnect connector and remove switch unscrewing it from pedal bracket. Replacement should cost about $10.

Just had a similar problem. Brake (stop) lights and horn didn't work. Couldn't find mention of stop lights in fuse chart. Found horn fuse to be slot 21 in the engine fuse block (not the fuse block in car interior). Replaced 15A fuse and all now ok.
