Sounds as if the cylider head gasket may have blown. If the engine oil has changed to a grey colour, thats the problem. Even if the oil hasn't changed I'd suggest a cylinder compression test fromyour friendly motor machanic
head gasket were replace and heads skim and presure tested
First thing I noticed, is you don't say anything about replacing the thermostat....That would be high on my list of first actions. remove it from its housing and check operating temp. and then get water to that same temp if you can and lower it in to see if it opens. May be safer and easier to get new one. Also check the temp. sender units. There will be either two or three, one for the guage, one for the computer and one for the fan. The fan may be controlled via the computer, so if you can't find three you know why, but have a good look just in case, check that the radiator isn't blocked either internally or by rubish from the outside. The condencer will also need to be inspected for contamination. That's the radiator in front of the cooling system rad. Did you tourque to correct settings and use correct sequence? I think that those heads may need a basic setting and then a further ninety degrees rotation.
