Replaced crank sensor and now Im getting PO725 code.Would it be the camsensor that is giving me this code?

Code is Crankey

Take the front timing cover out the camsensor and crank are one harness,steps are take cover off remove camsensor,remove cranksensor ,you dont need to remove timing belt.

DTC P0725 - ENGINE SPEED SENSOR CIRCUIT

When Monitored: Continuously after a ignition key is turned from the OFF to RUN

position and/or key is turned from the CRANK to the RUN position.

Set Condition: The code is set when the engine speed sensed by the Transmission Control

Module (TCM) is different than the engine speed reported by the Powertrain Control

Module (PCM) over the Communication Buss.

POSSIBLE CAUSES:

CHECKING SYMPTOMS AND POSSIBLE CAUSES

LOW BATTERY VOLTAGE

BAD CONNECTIONS AT VARIOUS CONNECTORS

CRANK POSITION SENSOR SIGNAL OPEN

CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR GROUND CIRCUIT OPEN

TCM CRANK POSITION SENSOR MONITORING DEFECTIVE

1345 is cam and crank sensor correlation its mainly the cam sensor going out, also the delay start that also trigger a camsensor code they call it excessive crank time check the fuel pressure that is capable of setting a cam code (1345) If fuel pressure is good (55-60 psi) expect to replace the camsensor you might as well do the crank sensor heres a nightmare on this code it can set if the distributor is off one tooth and yes these distributor have high failure rate

if its a po725 code its engine speed fault ,replace crank sensor.for vehicle speed there are two identical sensors near each other on trans....one called revolution sensor other is called turbine speed sensor.

FIRST THE P0335 CODE IS A CODE FOR LOSS OF CRANK SENSOR SIGNAL... MOST OF THE TIME YOU NEE TO REPLACE THE CRANK SENSOR... NEXT THE CODE P0775 IS FOR A PRESSURE SENSOR CODE FOR TRANNY... ERASE THAT CODE AND JUST SEE IF IT RETURNS...NOT A BIG DEAL ON THAT ONE

sounds like ya should replace the crank sensor, call dealer an see what they got

Possible Causes:


Check for trouble codes related to the CKP Sensor

CKP Sensor signal circuit open, shorted to ground or to power

CKP Sensor is damaged or has failed (open or shorted)

Intermittent wiring or connector problems

PCM has failed

I had to rebuild my engine at 97000 miles cuz of low engine oil pressure and bad berrings
