SOURCE: Interior lights on climate clontrol knobs don't work
After showing the dealership this site and the problems that others have had. I insisted that they take a look at it and solve the problem. FINALLY, they admitted that there are lights and that basically it is a pain to fix because they need to order a new module. After one day in the shop, I now have lights for the climate controls in my 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. Do not let them tell you that it only is an option with the Limited. It is just flat out FALSE. I was so frustrated with my dealership because this is shady if you ask me, but they did fix it free of charge. Do your research, call JEEP themselves, and provide the dealership with facts and they should fix it. It's ridiculous how much work I had to do to get them to admit that the Laredo also had the option, but it failed. Don't back down!!!!!!!

See if the light comes on and off sitting still turning the wheel back and forth and running the tilt up and down. If it does replace the clockspring behind the steering wheel. Remember to disconnect the battery to do the repair. Also when finished, turn the key on BEFORE connecting the battery back up. That way if anything went wrong, it won't deploy in your face. Hope this helps.

Gren light is never a warning , I think it's related to trany mode. You probably accidently push ed botton for transmission mode selector.
Regarding RPM it may be separate issue.

There is a bulb inside each of the knobs usually in the center. Have you checked the Fuse?
