O.comHi my c300 2007 displays mentainance bo exceded buy 20 days and i tried to reset the service but its not working, when i get to assyst plus and expect it to show service or full service it doesent it will show the same mentainace bo exceded . can any one pls tell me what to do?

The maintenance service indicator notifies the driver when the next service is due. Approximately one month before the maintenance service is due, the type of maintenance is indicated in the speedometer display. If one large wrench is shown, a minor service (A) is due. Conversely, if two small wrenches are shown, a major service (B) is due. The value shown in the display may reflect the calculated distance (in miles) or time (in days) remaining. When the maintenance service term has been exceeded, this value is preceded by a "-" (minus symbol). It means that your car will want service in 25 days. I'm guessing you don't put a lot of miles on your car. The MB Assyst system will request a service every 365 days or 13,000 miles, whichever comes first.

close all doors, turn key to position one, press accept call button, and then press the ok button. Hold down both buttons for about 5 seconds until menu appears on dash. select assyst plus using arrow keys. highlight full service option and select ok, select full service option and select ok, select service carried out, select ok press confirm and select ok., press exit button

since you have a maintenance light on means that the car needs the service . you do the service stated by the light Service A,B,C,D,E,etc and then reset the maintenance light.On the mercedes cars does not matter whether you are on service miles or not,the system counts days.

All the different lights you get on the dash of any vehicle, have
been there since 1980. That is 31 years. Nothing has changed
since then ,unless you were on another planet

Reset Service Indicator
1. Insert key into ignition, switch to position "1". The mileage counter has to be
displayed.
2. Press repeatedly until the TRIP option is highlighted.
3. Press and hold and within 1 second press and hold both for 5
seconds. The shop menu is displayed.
4. Press repeatedly until "Assyst Plus" is highlighted and confirm with .
Options "Service Data" and "Full Service" are displayed.
5. Press until "Full Service" is highlighted. Confirm with .
6. Press until "Conf. Full Serv." is highlighted, confirm with . The display
shows "Service carried out?."
7. Press to select "Yes". Confirm with . "Cannot be undone" displays.
8. Press until "Confirm" is highlighted. Confirm by pressing . The display
reads "Full Service carried out".
9. Confirm by pressing .

there should be information in your owner manual how to turn it off if you have miss place your owner manual see if you can download one its www.edmunds.com you can also try taking the positive side off the battery for about- 3-seconds and putting it back on wish you the best of luck Michigan Man.

1) Turn the key to position #1 and make sure the menu in the instrument cluster is on the total mileage and trip mileage screen.

2) Press the 'accept call' button and hold it. Then press the 'ok' button, this will take you to another menu screen.

3) Scroll around to find 'assyst plus', hit 'ok'.

4) Find the 'full service' option and hit ok

5) Confirm service with the ok button, it will then say 'service confirmed'.

6) Use the back button to scroll back out.
