If its just one window it could be the window motor / switch /window regulator but if its all of them its more likely a blow fuse or a bad relay check for blow fuses and you can check the relay by interchanging it with a know good one( for example if your horn works and the part number on the relay is the same as the window relay swap them and see if your window work the relay should be under the hood and the fuse box should tell you which relay is which

If there is one - In trunk - directly behind the gas filler door - behind trunkliner (carpet)
The cable should not have any problems... use a partner to hold the door release and try and pry it open with your fingers.
The spring popper may be bad.
Try this if you dont have an assistant :D
I had this problem with my STI -- easy to fix by bending the little metal on the inside of the fuel door that provides the spring action to open the door. 5 second fix

Try replacing the transmission filter and the trannie fluid. Mine would only go in reverse, and now it drives pretty well. This year has a screw on filter. Hope this helps
