My keys are inside my trunk in a 2000 S 80 Volvo. How can I get to them?

There is no access from behind the rear seats.
You can either call your Volvo dealership and they can advise a trusted locksmith or use your spare key.
All Volvos have two keys.

It's weird. I have a S60 ; the key hole is vertical (look up when looking from the bumper up to the truck) above the license plate. It's sort of hidden so you cannot see it if you are looking at the truck from the front. The truck can also be opened with your key fob.

If you can get in the rear doors (?) the driver side comes down and you will have access albeit a small space to find keys, use a flashlight and if you have a 10 yr old around they can slip in and back out of the trunk although this is a last ditch effort. get a tool with magnet on the end and sweep the trunk until you locate the keys

Sometimes you can let down the back set of a Volvo and get into the trunk. Some trunks are equipped with a trunk release to open it. See if the back seat will let down.

THE key code is what you need or a dealer should be able to give you a MASTER-KEY with the vin# and key code is on a little black tab in the owners manul package i hope this helps

My son was missing with the valet parking key while I was driving. When we got home and tried to open the trunk it wouldn't. It also made this buzzing sound when I push on the trunk latch.

if the back seat folds down you should be able to get in that way and pull the release lever and the trunk will pop open
if the seat does not fold down you may need to get a locksmith

if it can be opened from the outside i guess yo dont need t lock it in the first place right?!! wel that's a joke ok

now if you can drop the back rest of the rea seat you ca crawl into the trunk and pull the lever to relese the trunk open hopefully there is not much of stuff inside our trunk!!!!

hello theres really not many choices if you have a trunk key it should work if not and the inside trunk release isnt working either you could try to get at the lock setup from the back seat take your lower seat out remove the lower holding bolts slide up off the top lock setup see if theres enough room to work from there to pop the trunk open with a flash light and a screwdriver if not your going to have to pop the lock cylinder at your trunk once its out you can get a aftermarket replacement under $ 20 goodluck please rate
