This is the security code for theft radio system; add it; the radio code generaly is in back side of the radio, or in the owners manual (last page). If you dont have anyone, need to call the Acura dealer with the VIN car number (sometimes need to pay for this service).

  1. pry off the right-side molding along the center console (the wood/marble grain looking accent molding) and
  2. up near the RADIO side is a sticker with a serial number on it.
  3. Call any Acura dealer, give them the serial number ( ex.30001979)and they will give you the code!

You need to get the serial number off the sticker attached to the radio. It will require pulling apart your dash. Call an Acura dealership with that serial number and they should be able to provide you the code. Or you can take it directly to the dealer but you will be charged labor.

99 acura tl--need radio code

I need a radio code for my 1999 acura TL.

You must contact the parts department of your local Acura dealer to get this code. You will need to show them your car's registration to prove that you are the owner. You may be able to get the code with only the registration and the VIN code (found on the registration). Some manufacturers require the serial number on the radio, which would require that the radio be removed from the car to see the serial number.
