Hi, the wire is attached to a plastic cam through the steering wheel , the wire for the horn has a plastic tube with a spring. THIS TUBE HAS A PLASTIC PIN ON THE SIDE OF THE TUBE, THAT PUSHES INTO A LOCK SLOT IN THE CAM. IF THE GUIDE PIN IS BROKEN, OR THE CAM IS BROKEN, THE WIRE WILL NOT HOLD IN.Thanks..
The wire on the steering wheel should have a plastic peg on it. The column where the wire goes should have a notch for the peg to turn into. If one of these is broke they will not stay together.

Disconnect the battery ground cable before removing the steering wheel. When installing a steering wheel, always make sure that the turn signal lever is in the neutral position.
