We understand that your problem is: 92 Jeep

We understand that your problem is: 92 Jeep Wrangler, 5 Speed Manual Transmission. Replaced the Entire Clutch along with slave cylinder, but not master. It worked beautifully for a few weeks, now when I push in the clutch, I barely let out and it's already in gear. If i'm sitting on a hill holding the clutch and gas to stay in place it slowly will put itself back into gear. I assume that means that pressure is not being held on the clutch to disengage. I've bleed the system twice and looked for leaks everywhere to see if air is getting in, but i can't find anything. I have a 500 mile drive in 2 days, and i'm not feeling secure. Any ideas?

This is a typical master cylinder failure. PRE bleed a new m/c and install that.

If you have no leaks most likely the master cylinder is internally bypassing. It works exactly the same as the brake master.
Sometimes you will find some seepage in the drivers compartment where the clutch rod goes into the back of the master. sometimes you wont see anything at all.
What happens is the pressure in front of the piston goes around the seal and allows the clutch to slowly engage without taking your foot off the pedal.

Hard to get into reverse

try shifting in to first and then reverse. reverse might be worn out. you can have that gear replaced without replacing the whole transmission.

2000 jeep wrangler are sythetic lubes used in axils and trans

Hello grega1967, your Jeep Wrangler came from the factory with gear oil in the axles and manual transmission, but the transfer case uses transmission fluid. It is a NP231 and your axles are Dana 30 in the front and Dana 35 in the rear. They should have a 4.10 gear ratio due to you having a 2.5 liter 4 cylinder.

I hope this helps,

5th. Gear

Sounds like you may have bent a shift fork or your cluster gear has some missing teeth on it now. I would venture to say that is it a bent shift fork. This will require the transmission be removed to gain access to inspect and repair.
