1998 infiniti QX4 break squeeling

I have a 1998 infiniti QX4 ... ok the break have been squeeling for awhile now, i think i need to change my break, but i just did that not too long ago... any suggestions ????

Some times it might be that it just needs to be sanded down or there is too much break dust. so just spray it down with a power wash and if it doesn't work try to sand down the roaters. but be carefull.

The squeal is usually the tell tales that make a noise when the front or rear disk pads are worn to where they need replacing. However, with drum brakes, that is an indication of totally worn out shoes, or a broken part. STOP driving the car, go to a mechanic (or friend) and have them checked.

It looks like your water pump on a 3.5L is run off the timing chain. I got some info which may help see it but may not be the exact as your car. If you are having some problems with overheating from what I saw looks like you have 2 thermostats and after changing thermostats, you can have air trapped in your engine, which will still allow engine to overheat.

About how much do you think it will run me to fix my torque converter clutch on a 1998 infiniti QX4.

If the clutch is bad the transmission will have to be removed and the entire torque converter will have to be rebuilt or replaced so I believe you're looking at $1000 minimum.

shift solonoid b is in the transmission. not a do it
yourself situation. clear the codes and drive , see
if it comes back before you take it in for repair.

also check wiring going to trans. look for broken
wires and wires that are rubbed through
