Why is my windshield wipers running in the off position, it's like they are running in the intermittent position, but it's in the off position.

When the windshield wiper / washer switch is turned to the OFF position while the wiper motor is somewhere in mid-cycle, the wiper motor module will continue to operate the wiper motor until the wipers reach the park position. If the ignition is turned off while the wipers are in mid-cycle, the wipers will stop immediately where they are. The wipers will park the next time the ignition is cycled to the ON position.

Wipers stop in the middle of my wishield, will not park properly

Sorry , no adjustment .
Wiper/Washer System Components
The Wiper / Washer System consists of the following components:
• Windshield wiper / washer switch
• Windshield wiper system module / motor
• Windshield washer fluid pump
• Windshield washer fluid level switch
• WPR 25A fuse
Wiper / Washer System Operation
The windshield wiper motor module is part of the windshield wiper motor cover and controls the wiper motor operation. The windshield wiper motor is a 2 speed motor. Windshield wiper DELAY operation is a low speed wiper motor function with a variable delay interval between the wipe cycles. The DELAY interval is controlled through a series of resistors within the wiper / washer switch.
Park Position Operation
When the windshield wiper / washer switch is turned to the OFF position while the wiper motor is somewhere in mid-cycle, the wiper motor module will continue to operate the wiper motor until the wipers reach the park position. If the ignition is turned off while the wipers are in mid-cycle, the wipers will stop immediately where they are. The wipers will park the next time the ignition is cycled to the ON position.

During a recent snowstorm, the weight of the snow was apparently too much for the rear wiper. It stopped mid-stream and is stuck. Simultaneously, the intermittent function of the front wipers also quit. ...

Check fuse no. 11 (10A) in the driver's under dash fuse/relay box. I suspect it is blown. It provides power for the rear wiper, both washers, and the intermittent wiper function for front and rear. It probably blew when your rear wiper got stuck.

2005 h2 wipers run all the time

There was a recall on the suv`s but I`m not sure the h2`s were included. The fix was the replacement of the wiper motor module which is on the motor. All you have to do is remove the cover on the wiper motor and the module is there.Just unplug it and pry it out with a small screw driver. You can get a module from the dealership parts department.Just follow the directions.Hope this helps.Good luck.

Hummer H2 rear wiper and sprayer came on by itself

It sounds like the wiper control module. The wipers on my 2003 did the same thing. After I pulled the fuse for the rear wiper, the front wipers started acting up as well. I had to pull fuses to stop them too. There is a recall on 2003 H2's for this issue. The cover of the wiper module on 2003s for the allows rain/water to get into the module. The cover will be replaced for free, however, in my case since the module was full of water and my wipers were not working, they replaced the module for free also. Not sure how much it would cost to replace on a 2005.

Repolacement fuse?

The fuse to your washer pump is shared with the wipers themselves. If your wipers work, then your pump should. I just had the same problem. You can replace the washer pump for $20. It's located behind the front passenger's side wheel well. Just remove the passenger wheel and wheel well covering to access the washer tank, and the motor. The pump pulls off, after removing the electrical plug and fluid line. When you pull the old pump out, the washer fluid will gush out. If you want to save any of this fluid, you may want to find a cloth or something to stop the flow. The new pumps snaps in quit easily.
