I had my struts and strut mounts changed and also the passenger side ball joint changed. The problem now is the ABS VSC light is on. What can the problem?

Here's what I found on Yahoo answers:
For the driver's side: yes, you will have to raise the motor.
On all models, remove the front motor mount, Mark the position of the right engine mount, remove 3 right engine to mount bolts. remove one right engine mount to body nut. On all models hold the strut shaft with an 8 mm allen wrench, loosen top retaining nut 5 turns. Raise vehicle, remove ball joint to steering knuckle pinch bolt. seperate control arm ball joints from steering knuckle. Do NOT damage ball joint seal. Remove pinch bolt attaching steering knuckle to strut. Slide steering knuckle up on strut, Move transaxle to gain access to control arm nuts and bolts. remove 2 nuts and bolts and attaching control arm to subframe. Lifting up control arm remove.
Now this to mark the motor mount because you are supposed to use a powertrain alignment guage when putting back together. if not you can bind the motor in the unibody and make for a shaky ride.
that drivers side lower control arm calls for 4.3 hours where as the passenger side calls for 1.3 hours. So you can see what your in for.
BTW these instructions are taken straight from the Ford repair manual.

Working on struts can be dangerous because the spring is under great pressure so caution must be used at all times. Unless you have a suitable spring compressor I would recommend you install complete strut assemblies. They come assembled with allnew parts and you don't need to deal with the spring.

1. Remove tie bar, this is a bar that runs from the top of the struts over the top of the engine 2 nuts on each side.
2. Remove the three strut mount nuts from the top of the struts.
3. Raise and properly support the car on the frame allowing the front control arms to hang free.
5. Remove tires and wheels.
6. Remove ABS speed sensor connector.
7. Remover ABS sensor bracket from strut.
8. Remove brake line bracket from strut.
9. Before you remove the strut strut to knuckle nuts and bolts mark the position of the bolts to knuckle so when you reinstall you can keep the camber correct.
10. Remove strut to knuckle bolts.
Note: care must be taken that no damage to the ball joint or CV axle, so retain the knuckle with a bungee strap or something suitable.
11. Remove strut from vehicle.

Install in reverse order.

Tighten the strut to knuckle bolts to 140 foot pounds.
Tighten lug nuts to 100 foot pounds.

If you are not sure if you kept the proper camber alignment you should have the front end aligned.

Again, care must be taken at all steps to avoid injury.

Disconnect tie rod, end link and remove brake caliper. Disconnect ABS wiring. Remove lower control arm(ball joint) from spindle. Remove axle flange nut. Remove strut tower mounting nuts in engine compartment. Allow strut to slide down...Carefully remove axle from spindle, do not hammer the end. Use a center punch and hammer to remove it. Do not separate the axle components. There you go.

either the strut is not tight or the strut mount it bad. did you change the strut mount when you changed the strut?

You wont be able to push the strut up, if the bolts are tight at the top. You need to take a long prybar and push down on the control arm to get it below the strut/spindle assy. then push the spindle rotor drive axle assembly in toward the transmission, when you get it in far enough for the ball joint to line up, ease the pressure off the prybar and allow the ball joint stud to go in the hole on the spindle.

It has two,lower ball joints,one on each side.

You remove lower control arm of the chassis where they are located . Do not remove upper mounting strut bolts, remove only two bolts that hold strut to sterrink knuckle.

you need to check both of the control arm bushings,ball joints,sway bar links and upper strut mounts if all check out ok change the struts

the car is aging

there are other bushings and ball joints to make noises at that speed

the top rubber mounts failed for a reason

if i were on that job i would have replaced both gas struts
at the same time....
