To change the air filter disconnect the electrical connector on the large hose that runs from the air filter assembly to the throttle body assembly. Slowly and carefully remove the large hose from the throttle body and air filter assembly. Some of the 2000 models have spring type clips holding filter cover while others have two screws. Either unhook the clips or ree.move the screws and lift the cover. You'll see the filter element. Remove and replace it. Reverse order to reassembl

On the LaSabres they have a fuel tank pressure sensor and a fuel level sensor if either one has to be replaced they are built in to the fuel pump.You can get to the fuel pump by removing the rear seat and removing the panel to remove the pump.The fuel pump is located in the tank.

There is no special tools needed, you will probably find the fuel fuel filter beneath the undercarriage of the vehicle, check both sides just below the seating area and if not found there you will have to trace the fuel line from the fuel tank forward intil you locate the fuel filter.
