Hi, if the battery been taken off the radio go's into SAFE MODE on some cars on other cars you need to take the radio OUT and WRITE DOWN the (S.N.) SERIAL NUMBER this number has it's own CODE NUMBER. or take it OUT and take to an AUTOELECTRICIAN and they can READ the little SECURITY CHIP and GIVE YOU THE CODE £15 NORMALLY. or go to the internet type RADIO CODES FOR 2006 hyundai. gerry

The code is unique to each radio. You will need to show proof of purchase and the radio serial number to a Chrysler dealer to get the unlock code for the radio you purchased.

My radio is locked i just need the code for a monte carlo 97 GM delco radio

If the code is not at the back of your manual, try 0000 and if the radio locked it self from taking any more codes. Just disconnect the battery and that will reset the radio so you can re-enter the code. If 0000 did not work then log on to Radio-code.com, you can get your cod there for like $12.00 which is cheaper then the dealer and you get to know the codes as most dealer will just unlock the radio. you have to get to the settings of the radio to get to the code input and then you can put the code in....
