Go to the hatchback and turn the key to the right
Go under the dash and find your alarm control module (Black box). Unplug main harness from alarm module once you have located it and it will disconnect your alarm completely
Check your starter wire as mine was loose and did the same thing every time you interupt power to the alarm system it will flash the lights unlock the drivers door with the key and this will rearm the alarm and the jeep should start up if this is the problem rember to have good battery conections and a good batt first or else this will keep hapening also after 20 starts you may have to do the key thing again

There is a switch on the end of each door lock, which tend to wear out. They are available from the dealer. The driver side is labeled with an L and the passenger side is with an R. These switches disengage the alarm when the key is turned in the lock, or the lock is opened with the remote. The inside door panel has to be removed to get at the switches.
