My 2008 Saturn Outlook has a blown headlight bulb. I cannot find any info on how to change this. There are a few about headlight assemblies but it seems having to take the front end of the vehicle apart for a bulb is a little extreme. Most headlights in vehicles have quick latches but I cannot seem to find any on the Saturn???

You have to remove the air intake filter and then kind of reach around up in there to change it. It can be done, but is a lot of work. On the duramax, it is even harder to do the driver side because of the dual batteries. You have to remove the battery, then the battery seat plate, and undo the winshield washer fluid tank and lean it forward. Then you can just sort of reach in and change both headlights. A very big pain to change a couple of headlights, but if you want HID's.... for the average person, changing a headlight now means a trip to that garage.

you have to look arund and find them. They could be bolts and they could be clips like on a air filter. They could even be some sort of pins.

under the hood there will be a large, plastic weather cover to unscew by hand, remove the 3 pin connecting plug, there will be a spring loaded clip holding in the globe, depress the looped end and divert it over to one side thsi will release the globe, assembly is in reverse, be careful as not to touch the end og the globe, as the oil on your fingers are detremental to its operation. No special tools required to do this. Good luck

you have to remove the front bumper facia
remove all the push pins under the hood
remove both front wheels
remove both inner fenders
disconnect the fog light harness
3 bolts on each side that hold the front fenders to the facia
the front facia should slide off
then remove the 10mm bolts for the headlight
then reassemble
