For 2006 VW Jetta 2.5, cigarette lighter fuse 20A (yellow) is placed in the fuse box on passenger's side. See picture below:

The finger in the above picture is not pointing at the correct fuse for the cigarette lighter in the 2006 Volkswagen Jetta. The manual I have in my car is incorrect as well. Yes, it is a 20 amp fuse. Look at the picture above again. See the royal blue 15 amp fuse? The cigarette lighter 20 amp fuse goes in the empty spot right next to it. Pull the fuse out. Examine it between the small metal prongs under the plastic. Is the metal wire connected or has it burned out?

I am trying to locate the fuse box for the cigarette lighter in my 2006 f150 ford truck.

2006 doesn't have anything called a cig liter fuse. it is a "Auxiliary Power point" fuse. It is located under the hood. If you don't have a owners manual download one from Ford it is free. The fuse will be at least 15A

Your Mazda definitely has a safety fuse controlling the cig. lighter...Review your manual for fuse block location...(sometimes more than one:) the fuse diagraham in the manual should help find the specific fuse...labeled cig. lighter...:) You may find some extra fuses in your glove box kit...if not, they are available at most Auto Parts stores...

My cigarette lighters do not work to charge my cell phone? could this be a fuse problem? If so, which fuse is it?

Yes, could be cigarette lighter fuse blowed. Check fuse no.# 42 - F42 (20A) = cigarette lighter, 12 Volts. See picture below:

For 2006 VW Jetta the fuse box is located on the left side of dashboard behind a plastic cover (for left hand steering wheel vehicle). On inner face of the plastic cover you will find the fuse diagram.
