Sorry, but this is a security concern and you either need a professional scan tool like the snap-on modis assistance from Honda

providing "generic" codes are "illegal"
Yes, I know people try, but as a dealer tech I can tell you honestly, it causes more problems than not

furthermore, most of the time at the dealer will will retrieve the code and give it to the customer for free just so we can add the customers name to the database

I have a problem with the code of the stereo honda element 2004

Usually the stereo code is needed for accessing any kind of function of the stereo.
If the radio code is not located in the owners manual there are other places that might have the code displayed.

Check the fuse panel inside cover or the sides of the glove box door.
(This is where I put the radios code sticker for when I am performing new vehicle deliveries)

A honda dealership would be the only option to make use of this problem.

What the Honda dealership does is find the stereo's serial number then the advisor is able to locate the radio's 4 - 6 digit code.

On some models the serial number is found by holding the #1 and #6 radio preset simultaneously, then hitting the power button.

At this point the radio's display should show the serial number and the radio code can be retrieved by the advisor.

1999 Accord radio code

your best would be to purchase a repair manual (Haynes) printed especially for your make and model vehicle. in it you will find a section on everything you need to know about your radio including "How To Reset Your Radio Code"

2007 honda pilot radio code

Typically to get the code you have to have the serial number of the unit and call a Honda dealership to get the code. Sometimes in years gone by, there was a credit card sized card that had a sticker with the serial number and code. Sometimes the sticker is even stuck on the owners manual or the inside of the glovebox.

It sound like you are going aftermarket so I would think that the code is not needed as the code was only for the factory radio itself, not the rest of the system (speakers, etc..) Call the radio installer and ask but I don't think you need the code.

The stereo inside the car is requesting for a code for it to start working but presently it not giving sound any more.pls help...how can i get the code the model is HONDA PILOT EXL 2005/2006 VIN NUMBER:...

Best bet take it to an auto electrician. most are able to reset the stereo's code or know where to get the code from. Other than that contact the stereo manufactorer with the serial number. or use an online code cracker company or even try to find a program that will work out the code for you. (a lot of codes are done from the serial number). in the UK the normal price for supplying the code is about £10.

Serial code on stereo

If you are needing the Radio Code because the radio is asking you for "Code" then for your year of car you should be able to take the serial number off of your registration or from the dash or drivers side b pillar sticker and a dealership can run the "VEHICLE" serial number and should be able to give you the radio code to get the radio to work again. No radio removal required.

2004 honda pilot radio code

I held down preset 1 and 6 while turning on the radio. The display then said "CODE." I punched in the 4-digit code (found on the side of the passenger side glove box) using the preset buttons, and viola! the stereo came back on.
