Nissan x-trail fault codes that came up at service, the Nissan Dealer could not tell me what the fault codes meant, can any one help with the following codes?
P0725, P1726, P0826, U1000

Remove battery terminal for more than 1 minute or longer - it will reset automatically. This is what I did to reset the computer BUT if you want to re-program the computer you need to take it to a Nissan dealer. Hope I was of any help!
I would need to know what year model this is, engine capacity and engine code to confirm but generally on the x-trails that fault code refers to a mechanical fault on the fuel pressure regulator. This is for the YD22DDTi engine.
you will need to pull the radio and get the model number and the vin number from the vehicle then go to the dealer for the number unless someone has wrote it in the owners manual some where.
this is engine check light telling you there is a fault with a sensor on the engine, take it to a nissan dealer to get computer read for fault code then can replace faulty part.
