Just bought a 95 honda civic and now it wont start. It started fine when i went to test drive it. We started and drove it twice that day. I had the man meetme at a store a few days later so he coould bring the car to my house. The car started at the store. It sat in my drive for five days and when i went to drive it it wouldnt start. It doesnt doanything when you turn the key. Tried to jump it off and that didnt work. Any idea what it might be?

Check what the battery reads while starter is running.Or you can turn on the headlights and try to start it to see if the headlights dim or go out.
If so then the battery is too weak or has bad connections at battery or at the engine ground or starter solenoid.

Possibly the starter is bad if you hear a clicking noise from the started could be bad check also the battery might need a new one

Sounds like the timing belt may have broke. You can check by opening the oil cap on the valve cover and watching the valves while someone cranks the engine. If the valves do not move, your timing belt has snapped. Please let us know if this is not the cause or if you would like instructions for replacing the belt.

1991 honda civic si starting problem

have you check the ground wire from your negative wire to battery post? check to see the battery is strong. if it doesn't turn over the engine or crank the engine mean no good ground to the cables. if the car ran fine I dont understand why the car wont crank or turn the motor over it just quit. if the battery check out strong 12 V, starter serenoid may be faulty on your starter or it may be hot and will not turn starter over.

95 civic wont start

An engine needs 3 things to run: Fuel, compression, ignition.

Maybe the timing belt went out. Take off the dist cap and see if the rotor turns as you crank the engine.

Next run a compression test on all the cylinders.
