My car will not accelerate properly...it stalls when pushing the gas...the air filter looks clean...so I changed the spark plugs and it drove a little better...sometimes on take off it would mess up but sometimes it would act fine...now that I've changed the spark plug wires, rotor, and distributor cap the car will not start...the battery seems to be surging but the battery is good.

There is a port on the fuel ine to check the pressure, it looks like a tire valve, it should have a plastic cap on it. Do you have a guage?

SOURCE: 1995 Alitma ran rough and stalled

Its just fouled some plugs again. Need an overhaul. If you just put a valve job on it it will just put more stress on the rings and will need it anyway. Not much you can do except change plugs all the time!

SOURCE: 1993 Lexus LS400 acceleration stalls or surges

I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM WITH MY CAR. 93 LS 400. THAT WOULD BE YOUR FUEL FILTER OR THE FUEL PUMP GOING BAD. TRY CHANGING THE FILTER FIRST. THE DEALER TRIED TO CHARGE ME $980 TO CHANGE FUEL PUMP.

SOURCE: truck misses under acceleration after it's warmed up.

that is a tricky one you have almost replaced everything. that is fuel injected if you dont have the right fuel pressure when you step on the gas it will fall on its face you need to take a fuel pressure reading and also it could be as simple as the fuel filter which is often over looked it could be cloged restricting the flow. also check the MAP sensor

Car stalls when push gas pedal

Spark plugs are a good start. Sounds more like a bad TPS sensor (throttle position sensor).

I have a 93 nissan 300zx non turbo, my problem is: it starts up okay, it gets spark, the ptu is good, fuel pressure is good also, fuel filter is fine, cleaned and sprayed out air intakes, cleaned air...

Well is the check engine light on or have you tested for codes yet? and it sounds like it could be a sensor issue, and if you didnt replace the distributor and cap and rotor that could be an issue also

It suddenly started putting down the road very bad and the air filter looks clean...when I push the gas the acceleration would stall...so I changed the spark plugs and it drove better...sometimes at take...

Sounds like multiple things going on. The 1st is maybe something sticking with the throttle and why intermittent. Clean carb/throttle body. Make sure you installed everything correctly, sometimes the problem can be compounded with fixing attempts. If it was clicking and not cranking and now not clicking possibly the neutral safety switch is bad but it should still click which is the starter relay. Maybe wore it out trying to start it. It's not uncommon for other things to fail as a result of a failure. If it kept clicking I'd say definitely the NSS. Check your battery connection and get a terminal brush cleaning tool. I assume you mean by battery charge seems to go up and down you are using a multimeter. If it has a dead cell you would have this problem but maybe the connection to it is bad.

My car doesnt accelerate properly as it hits 20mph and holds back for 10 to 15 seconds cleaned sensors(idle, mass or maff sensor and sensors around) and changed wire set and spark plugs and fuel filter

run it without the air filter and see if it makes a difference. does it shake? missfire? any DTC's(diagnostic trouble codes), Check engine light on? Does it do the same thing when in park and pressing on the gas gently? Does it bog down? It can be as simple as the air filter. The other thing that comes to mind is the intake manifold gasket. Try spraying some starter fluid around the intake manifold(car on) and see if the car stalls or shakes.(do this step with engine started from cold for your safety)

Occasionally, the car will not accelerate during a turn no matter how hard I push on the gas peddle. What could be the trouble?

There are many possible causes for this kind of problem.

1. Clogged fuel filter - just change your fuel filter
2. Dirty air filter - replace it or just clean it with compressed air
3. faulty throttle position sensor - this will be the extreme case but usually its just the fuel filter or air filter.
4. Used up fuel pump - its also possible that you fuel pump has given up
5. Bad spark plugs - check the spark plugs, see if they are still okay

My car doesnt accelerate like its supposed to do.It seems to me like it boags down when i push the gas but when i let off the gas a little it will accelerate slowly. It has no power, once you get to going...

try to have your intake manifold and air filter cleaned. Also, try to replace the fuel filter. these are usually the culprits for the problem that you are experiencing.
